When we got married in Tulum in 2025, we experienced firsthand the magic that happens when design and documentation share one vision. Every detail we carefully planned was captured exactly as we imagined it. There were no miscommunications between vendors, no moments lost because the photographer didn't understand the significance, no design elements that went unphotographed.
SOLAYA began with a question:
What if the people planning your celebration were also the ones documenting it?
That experience became the foundation for SOLAYA — a creative studio where planning and photography aren't separate services, but two halves of one complete vision.
Now, as husband and wife, we bring this integrated approach to couples and creators around the world. Vayle designs experiences that feel authentic and intentional. Zack captures the stories that unfold with cinematic artistry. Together, we create celebrations and content that reflect who you truly are.

Vayle is the creative force behind SOLAYA's planning and design services. With a master's in interior design and architecture, she understands not just what clients want, but who they are - then design experiences that feel authentically aligned. Her work spans destination weddings, wellness retreats, brand experiences, and intimate gatherings

Visual Storyteller
Zack brings a decade of commercial photography and film experience to SOLAYA's visual storytelling. His approach is documentary at heart with an editorial eye - he captures what's real, but makes it beautiful. Whether documenting a wedding, creating content for a luxury hotel, or shooting lifestyle portraits, Zack's work is characterized by emotional depth and visual poetry.

Our Life
In 2025, we made Tulum our home base. It's where we got married, where we launched SOLAYA, and where we continue to find inspiration in the intersection of natural beauty, wellness culture, and creative community.
While Tulum is home, we work globally - from Pacific Northwest weddings to brand collaborations across Mexico to retreat planning in Cabo. Our goal is to create and document meaningful experiences wherever they unfold.
